The NCTE manages and participates in some innovative educational projects which illustrate good practice in the integrated use of ICT in learning and teaching.
- FÍS
- FÍS (literally translated as 'Vision') is an initiative designed to introduce the medium of film as a support to the Primary School Curriculum (Curaclam na Bunscoile). Teachers and children are encouraged to make a short film, documentary or animation and to enter it in the annual FÍS Film Festival. A comprehensive resource pack of lesson plans and technical manuals are available to assist teachers wishing to get involved with their classes.
