ICT Plan Outline
To maximise the benefit of ICT grant allocations, schools should devise a strategy for ICT over a particular period in time. In an ideal situation the specific ICT plan should be incorporated into the overall school plan to maximise the integration of ICT with curriculum needs.
But before an actual plan is devised schools are recommended to take stock of how they are utilising their existing ICT resources using the planning matrix. With this information, coupled with the guidelines contained in this section of the NCTE website, they can develop a strategic three-year plan to progress their use of ICT in a meaningful way.
