Primary Principals Inservice Seminars

The NCTE has written to primary schools notifying principals about the NCTE programme of professional development seminars for Principals which is currently running from 25th November 2009 until May 2010.

The aim of the workshop is to provide Principals with an overview of what planning for ICT involves and some practical advice and information on the supports available to you and your teachers in furthering the use of ICT in learning and teaching.

The seminars are being rolled out on a phased, regional basis and are being delivered in Education Centres in 2010 as follows: Please note change of locations for seminars being held as Gaeilge for Gaelscoileanna and Gaeltacht schools.

Forms should be returned by fax to the ICT Administrator in the Education Centre you wish to attend as soon as possible. 

Seminars took place in November and December 2009 for schools in the following Education Centre regions - Dublin West, Drumcondra, Blackrock, Kildare, Kilkenny, Navan and Monaghan. 2 additional dates for schools in these regions who could not attend in 2009 have now been scheduled for 27th and 28th May in DCU.

The seminars will commence at 9.15am and finish at 3pm.
