#ccGlobal Connected Classrooms
#ccGlobal Connected Classrooms is the concept of #ccGlobal, which started back in June 2011 when Pam Moran (Virginia, USA) contacted Liam Dunphy (Sydney, Australia) to see if their schools could connect in a similar way to a successful earlier connection between Liam’s school with an Elementary School in Iowa, USA. The concept evolved to have a matrix of connections between schools in VA and Sydney, which has now spread to include schools in Ireland and the UK. There is a Ning social network which now contains the official membership and information about projects. Invitations to join can be found at this location:
There are now over 40 official members from all over the world from countries such as Australia, Egypt, Finland, Guatemala, Ireland, Jordan, Scotland, England and the USA .
