Encyclopaedia Britannica are running a major national competition through Scoilnet for teachers during October.

The competition is is confined to teachers and student teachers and is based on lesson activities that draw on resources or content from Encyclopaedia Britannica. The activity can be for any level, topic or subject, but should show practical and creative ways to use Britannica in a classroom.

Prizes include an iPad2, two ActivSlates and hubs from Promethean and an e-Instruction Mobi Mobile Interactive Whiteboard.

The competition will close at midnight on Sunday November 6th.
