InGenious - Shaping the future of Maths and Science education
The role of inGenious is to stimulate young Europeans to study Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The inGenious website is a modern web portal, with lively content and user-friendly tools, to attract both teachers and students thanks to a repository of fascinating practices, a dynamic design, complete information on STEM news and events in Europe, best examples of STEM initiatives to be tested in 1,000 pilot schools, and so much more!
Chemistry: All About You
The project “Chemistry: All About You” aims to teach chemistry in a fun and innovative way with an inspiring video and a selection of hands-on activities to stimulate young peoples’ interest in chemistry. Pedagogical guidelines are now available in nine languages providing teacher tools to raise awareness among students aged 12 to 16 on the contributions chemistry makes to their daily lives.
Insafe December newsletter
This month's edition of the Insafe newsletter focuses on a range of tools and resources to help you – as parents, carers and educators - to help keep children and young people safe online, while still experiencing and embracing the many opportunities that new digital technologies bring.
ICT course in Malta
A week-long course entitled "ICT for Collaborative, Project-Based, Teaching and Learning" is taking place in Malta next summer. It could be ideal for eTwinning and also includes the use of the desktop, other eTwinning tools as well as an introduction to eTwinning for those who are not already registered.
Safer Internet Day 2012?
Don’t forget to register for Safer Internet Day 2012 (SID) which will be on 7 February and will be centred on the theme Connecting generations and educating each other with the slogan “Discover the digital world together ...safely!” New for 2012, registered schools will receive an SID kit containing information about SID, promotional materials, suggested learning and awareness activities as well as eSafety resources.
