Safer Internet Day is part of a global drive to promote a safer Internet for all users, especially young people. The 8th Safer Internet Day will be celebrated on 7th February 2012 in many countries across the world, including Ireland, centred on the theme "Connecting generations and educating each other", where they encourage users young and old to "discover the digital world together...safely"!.
