Workshops hosted by National Parents Council County Branches will help parents get Webwise for Safer Internet Day 2012. As part of Safer Internet Day 2012, the National Parents Council (NPC) Primary trainers will deliver internet safety workshops for parents in locations across the country.

The workshops, organised by the NPC County branches, focus on strategies for improving communication between parents and children and negotiating boundaries to their internet use. Parents will get to hear young people talk about how they use the internet, why it is attractive to them and get an insight into children's main worries when online, such as cyber bullying. Parents will be introduced to strategies to help their children be responsible, effective and safer internet users.You can get and share details of the events here.
