Home Access to Encyclopaedias now available for Teachers

searchThe search facility in Scoilnet.ie has recently been updated to include results from the Ask About Ireland website. Ask About Ireland is the public libraries’ online resource, providing a wide range of information, images, audio and video on all aspects of Ireland, past and present.

Team Govannon Racing wins the 2010 F1 in Schools Technology Challenge

Team Govannon Racing from Dundalk Grammar School, are declared the National Champions of the 2010 F1 in Schools Technology Challenge, powered in Ireland by Irish Computer Society at the National Finals held in Griffith College Dublin.

e-Learning Awards 2010: Teachers Compete for Best Use of ICT at School

awardThis year European Schoolnet (EUN) celebrate the 10th anniversary of the eLearning Awards, Europe's leading competition to reward excellence and best use of technology in education. Schools and teacher training institutions are invited to take part and register to present their best projects making use of ICT for teaching and learning.

2009/2010 Insight Country Reports published

reportFifteen country reports on ICT in education (2009/2010 series) are now published on Insight.  This initiative is one of the major activities undertaken by European Schoolnet to gather and analyse information on ICT in education for Ministries of Education across Europe.
