NCTE: Scoilnet Maps
Scoilnet Maps Reference Manual (http://maps.scoilnet.ie)
The NCTE's web mapping website, Scoilnet Maps, provides a full range of maps that really excite learners – OSi maps, aerial photographs, world maps, country maps, and more. Since its launch, Scoilnet Maps has been widely praised by Geography teachers as an excellent support for the teaching of both the Junior Certificate and revised Leaving Certificate Geography syllabuses.
The Scoilnet Maps reference manual has recently been published and posted out to 1,300 registered users. It outlines the full functionality of the website. A compressed version can also be downloaded and viewed online (PDF 3MB).
