| Scheduled ICT Courses These are developed and funded by NCTE and take place through the Education Centre network. Summer courses qualify for EPV days for primary teachers. Courses vary in duration from 2.5 to 20 hours. | |
| Support Groups Support groups provide informal training in ICT to teachers. 2.5 hours duration, popular topics for support groups include: use of digital cameras in the classroom, using the Internet, demonstrations of educational software applications, interactive whiteboards. | |
| Whole School Training Whole School ICT Training can be delivered to a whole school staff, in their own school and based on their own ICT equipment. Particularly popular for summer courses (qualifying for EPV days), whole school training courses can be organized in conjunction with your local Education Centre. As minimum numbers (10) apply, schools may wish to cluster with neighbouring schools to organise whole school training. | |
