This website was recommended on the CESI List recently by Pauric O' Donnell. From the website you can download/install multiple programs at once. The site has around 60 free applications for areas including web browsing, messaging, office suites, music apps and dvd burning. Well worth a look!
b. The 4C Initiative
Dublin City University's Learning Innovation and Knowledge Research Centre is coordinating a series of free online seminars on using digital content for education. This is known as the 4C Initiative. The seminars are delivered by leading international experts on digital content in education. Upcoming webinars include Using Images in the Classroom and Using Audio and Video in the Classroom.
