Post Primary Survey Preparation
Welcome to the Post Primary Survey Preparation area, (March 2010)
1. The purpose of the survey is to assist in establishing an overall national picture in relation to ICT in schools, and inform government ICT related policy at present and in the future.
2. The funding will be provided to schools on the basis of a standard per capita allocation (the actual allocation has yet to be determined) irrespective of the level of existing ICT provision in each school.
3. Schools should complete the online ICT survey safe in the knowledge that forthcoming grants for ICT will not be adversely affected by having worked to equip one's school to the highest ICT related standards.
4. Preparation: Before starting to input answers to the online survey we recommend that you first print a copy, so that you will be familiar with the questions, that you have had time to consider the answers and have gathered the correct numeric data as required.
