In 1985, the senior corridor was built by P.J. Daly. The land belonged to the bishop of Meath.
The second half opened on 12th November 1985.
Mr McCoy and Mrs O'Sullivan are the longest serving teachers in the school. There were prefabs in the yard.
On the first morning there were 56 pupils and two teachers. Now there are about 600 pupils and 21 teachers.
Our school is in Mullingar town. It is a mixed school with both boys and girls. The school has won drama competitions, poetry and tidy school competitions. It has also won singing, art and choir competitions at the Feis. The boys got into the final in Westmeath in Comortas na mBunscoil (Primary school) competition in Gaelic Football.
