Linking with text

Select the text you want to create the link for. Click the Link button on the Composition Toolbar.

The Link Properties box opens.

In the Link to text box, type a file name, (e.g. school.htm), URL (e.g. http://www.scoilnet.ie/) or e-mail address (e.g., mailto:school.ias@eircom.net). Alternatively, click Choose File to select a local file.

Click Apply and then Close to finish.

Linking with Images

Insert an image on your page. Select the image and then click the Link button on the Composition Toolbar.

The Image Properties box opens.

In the Link to text box, type the file name or URL, or click Choose File to select a local file.

Select the Image tab and set Solid border to 0. Enter Alternative text (e.g. Return to our Home page) if required.

Click Apply and then Close to finish.
