Using Microsoft Word 97

Microsoft Word 97 is essentially a word processing package, but it also enable users to create and edit web pages in a similar way to a HTML editor. You will usually do this by opening a new file using one of the web page templates available in Word 97.

Normal Word documents (.doc files) can also be converted to HTML documents by selecting the Save as HTML... option from the File menu. However, certain formatting features are not available in the normal Word templates, and the resulting HTML page may not appear exactly as you want it to.
