Web Graphics

A few years ago, Internet pages were text only. This resulted in plain pages on a grey background which proved difficult to read and rather monotonous. Nowadays, with the advent of graphics, plug-ins and advanced browsers, web pages use more multimedia than ever. The challenge to you will be to achieve the correct balance when using these multimedia elements.

A picture may paint a thousands words, but on the web overuse of graphics results in increased page download times for the viewer. It is important that you use graphics to enhance your web page, not to detract from it.
